The 2019 National Telehealth Research Symposium will showcase connected health efforts, strategies, and partnerships, specifically those that focus on the research of telemedicine, telehealth, eHealth, mHealth, and other healthcare technologies.

2019 Telehealth Research Symposium will be held on September 11-13 in Chicago, Illinois at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital.

This event is hosted by SPROUT (Supporting Pediatric Research on the Outcomes and Utilization of Telehealth) and SEARCH (Society for Education and the Advancement for Research in Connected Health) with additional organization support by the National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers.

CONNECTING HEALTH RESEARCHERS

The 2019 National Telehealth Research Symposium will connect health researchers, academicians and visionaries in telehealth and telemedicine to share findings and foster research partnerships.  The three-day session, which will begin the morning of September 11th and conclude on the afternoon of September 13th, will continue upon the initiatives set by the Society for Education and the Advancement of Research in Connected Health (SEARCH).

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS NOW OPEN!

The 2019 National Telehealth Research Symposium is now accepting abstract submissions. Submissions are accepted May 1, 2019 through June 28, 2019.

  • Focus areas include:
    • Evidence-based research that supports the benefits of connected health systems (e.g., telemedicine, telehealth, eHealth, mHealth)
    • Quality initiatives and telehealth measures
    • Telehealth training programs and education
    • Special topic of interest – Acute care and chronic care as it involves connected health for pediatric patients in various care settings (e.g., home, school, hospital)
